Air Jordan XV 15The Air Jordan XV was released after Michael Jordan's second retirement. Design-wise, Tinker Hatfield took cues from the X-15 fighter jet and the red striping located at the heel from the popular Italian Prada shoe. Additionally, the tongue of the sneaker "stuck out" imitating Jordan's signature move when he performed on the basketball court. Similarly to the Air Jordan IX's, Michael Jordan never wore these during an NBA game which could also attest to their lack of popularity with Jordan sneaker afficianados.
